FUTURE MEDICINE: ADVANCED THERAPEUTICS AND DIAGNOSTICS

The event is open to all students.

We cordially invite you to Brno, Czech Republic, for our Mendel University funded symposium on FUTURE MEDICINE: Advanced Therapeutics and Diagnostics. This event actually marks a very special occasion, namely the successful conclusion of OPVVV Project FIT (Pharmacology, Immunotherapy, nanotoxicology; CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/15_003/0000495).

Project FIT (January 2017 – August 2022) was originally awarded to researchers based primarily at the Veterinary Research Institute (VRI) in Brno by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT), with financial support from the European Regional Development Fund. The primary aim was to create a sustainable “Nanotechnology for Healthcare Centre” in Central Europe.

WHERE: Mendel University in Brno, building M, M2.12

Progress with both research and ongoing collaborations has been impressive, so you can look forward to an exciting day of presentations by Andrew D. Miller (Project FIT Director at the VRI and Professor at Mendel University), Vojtech Adam, (Professor at Mendel University), members of the Project FIT Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), and key Project FIT research team leaders and collaborators After the symposium, Mendel University will be discussing how to combine forces with the VRI to determine how both might work together to take the Project FIT legacy forward and ensure the sustainability of the Project FIT vision into the foreseeable future. If you like what you hear, then you too are invited to contact us and take part in Project FIT sustainability for the future benefit of us all going forward.

Our symposium and follow up discussion meetings have been organized jointly by Mendel University in Brno with the VRI.
