How to get to the venue: Mendel University in Brno, Zemědělská 1, building M, M2.12

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: If you are going from Best Western Hotel International, you can walk to the main square Náměstí svobody (5min) and take a tram nr.9 stop Náměstí svobody – stop Zemědělská (Mendel university). The stop is close to the building B, where you can enter the campus and get to the building M. The lecture room is on the top floor.

BY CAR:  If you are driving from the hotel, it is only 15 min drive, but count with the traffic in the morning. Here is the map. Let us know, if you want to park your car inside of the campus. We will need your licence plate number in advance. App for parking in Brno.

From Vienna to Brno:

The Student Agency buses go directly from Schwechat airport in Vienna to Brno bus station Grand. These buses are very often fully booked. Therefore we recommend you to book your tickets in advance. You can buy tickets online. If there are seats available, you can buy the ticket from the driver.

You can also use other means of transportation to travel from Vienna to Brno.
Tourbus or other buses usually depart once a day.

There are also trains going from Wien Hauptbanhof to Brno main train station. You can use City Airport Train or Vienna Airport Lines to get from the airport to the city centre. Further information about transportation within Vienna can be obtained at the information desk in the arrival hall. From Prague to Brno:

RegioJet (Student Agency) buses will take you from Vaclav Havel airport to the bus station by hotel Grand in Brno. While travelling from Prague airport, you will have to change buses at the bus station Florenc in Prague. Your bus ticket is valid for all the journey from Prague airport to Brno. If you need more information, you can ask the hostess on the bus. Buses from Prague to Brno are very often fully booked. Therefore we recommend you to book your tickets in advance. You can buy tickets in Student Agency office at Terminal 1 in Prague or online.

 

Other possible ways to get from Prague (usually from the city centre) to Brno.

Tourbus, Eurolines or other buses usually depart from the bus station Florenc in Prague. They will take you to the bus station Zvonarka in Brno.

You can also travel by train from Prague main train station to Brno main train station. You can use Airport Express to get to the city centre. Any further information about transportation within Prague can be obtained at the Information desk in the arrival hall. From Brno airport:

The best way to get to the city centre from the Brno airport is to take public transport bus number 76 (during the day) or number N89 (during the night). These buses will take you to the main (train) station in about 20 minutes. The bus tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine located in the arrival hall. You can also buy tickets from the bus driver. A 60-minute ticket costs 25 CZK. More information about tickets and fares can be found on Erasmus Guide.
