Laboratory of Prototypes

The laboratory serves as technical base for department. It is dedicated to development of prototype devices, repair of analytical devices. For manufacturing of the hardware construction tasks we are conducting full 3-D modelling. The 3-D printing is possible using of our five 3-D printers, but also 2 smaller CNCs are used for metallic parts processing. The electronics is also fully designed, and then assembled and performance is tested in our lab. For driving the prototypes usually Beagle bone Black development kits are used. The core software and all the basic functional protocols are also developed in our lab using platforms as Linux, Java, C, Assembler etc. For rapid prototyping the Arduino board is mostly employed.
