Laboratory of synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials

The research interest of this group is focused on synthesis and nanomaterial characterization which are further use for bioapplications or in electrochemistry for the detection of target analytes. Materials that we synthesize can be divide into metal, magnetic, carbon nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles, metal-organic frameworks, and liposomes. We collaborate with different research groups to test our as-prepared materials on bacteria, carcinoma cells, algae, fish, or mammals.

Possibility of using equipment at CEITEC – atomic force microscope (AFM), confocal Raman microscope, transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX).
