Project Cover Sheet (PLP)

When preparing a project proposal, each applicant or co-applicant is required to submit a completed Project Cover Sheet (PLP) no later than one week before the project call deadline, unless otherwise specified by the Project Office. Completion of this form is a prerequisite for submitting a project at MENDELU.

The preferred method of submission is the online PLP form.

The online PLP may be completed by any team member; it does not have to be the principal investigator. This person must then update the section “Responsible person / Principal investigator” with the correct applicant’s name. After submission, the applicant will receive an email requesting approval of the PLP via the Verso system.

Funding Sources:
The standard funding source used is 239/1101, for which non-eligible costs must be selected (use of this source is confirmed by the signature of the Institute Head).

Legal Documentation

All contracts (except for main contracts with public funding providers such as TAČR, GAČR, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Education, or EU funding bodies) must be approved by the MENDELU Legal Department prior to signature. Legal review of documents is arranged by the principal investigators via pravni@mendelu.cz.

If you are unsure whether a contract or document requires legal review, please do not hesitate to contact the Project Office of the Faculty of Agronomy.

Contract templates must always be adapted to the specific project and funding provider in accordance with the General Project Conditions.
